Lorna Leedy grew up on an island in Washington's Puget Sound.
As a child she had a pet flying squirrel. Leedy started out as a reader and maker of artist's books. Later, a series of art accidents led her to fashion.
Presently Leedy and her Park Ranger husband migrate seasonally, carrying her sewing studio in a Eurovan Camper. The pair spend summers at Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington, where they live in the forest by the Ohanapecosh River, and winters in the glamorous big city of Marfa, TX. At other times they can be found in New Orleans, Joshua Tree National Park, North Park, CO or places in between.
Fancy Pony Land is inspired by animals, birds and the natural world.
